Ok, so i've been testing this one out: If i leave my TG01 to charge overnight with screen backlight left on, the phone will not be fully charged in the morning.
it "looks like" (not very scientific study...) the phone will charge up to 100% but then the battery will drain due to the screen backlight being on, but for some reason the phone will not restart the charging process.

More extreme: I've left the GPS ON one night; again plugged in the mains and in the morning the phone had turned itself OFF automatically. When I turned it on, still plugged in, an alert popped up: "your battery has less than 10% charge, please replace the battery or plug it in" ... with the charger plugged in!!!

The only way to get a full charge in the morning is to leave the phone completely OFF.

I've also noticed that, just leaving it to charge at my desk, the red charging LED will turn itself off once the battery reaches 100% and won't turn on until I disconnect and reconnect the cable.

I've replaced my first handset as I thought this was a fault in the handset, but this is now hapenning in the exact same way with the new one.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

yes exactly the same problem. I have had to start taking my charger to work now as I am not getting a full days charge out of it.
